Key Responsibilities

Hands-On ADL Support
Safely assist with transfers, bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility while always preserving client dignity.

Home Environment & Infection Control
Change linens, assist with light laundry, and maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized living environment.

Medication & Symptom Monitoring
Provide medication reminders, observe for changes in condition, and report concerns or red-flag symptoms to the supervising nurse.

Therapeutic Engagement & Companionship
Provide meaningful interaction through conversation, reading aloud, reminiscence activities, range-of-motion exercises, and supervised walks.

Accurate Documentation
Complete timely care notes, document client progress, and communicate observations through our digital charting system before the end of each shift.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Completion of a state-approved Home Health Aide (HHA) training program

  • Current HHA certification required

Not certified yet?
We can help you become certified through our own CHHA school program.

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

  • Strong communication and observation skills
